Hi everyone,
I am trying to help my cousin, Ben Volpe, in his efforts to fight and win his battle against Type 1 diabetes. Ben is 8yrs old and has been living with T1D for the past 2 years.
If you ask people with T1D, they will tell you it is difficult and life threatening. And they know it never goes away.
I am motivated by the courage, perseverance and heroism of Ben and those facing the everyday challenges of type 1 diabetes – they are the reason we challenge ourselves to give more, to do more, to achieve more. We challenge ourselves to make a real difference in the lives of those with T1D.
